Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Behavior Technician II (BT 2) at Growth Mindset ABA, you will:
- Provide 1:1, play‑based ABA services in the home and community
- Implement individualized behavior strategies created by your BCBA
- Use strengths‑based, neurodiversity‑affirming practices
- Support children in building functional, meaningful skills
- Collect session data to guide treatment and celebrate progress
- Collaborate closely with families and your supervising BCBA
In addition to BT 1 responsibilities, BT 2s also:
- Train and mentor new Behavior Technicians
- Model prompting, reinforcement, and data collection procedures
- Conduct and score competency checklists
- Provide real‑time coaching during shadow sessions
- Help ensure consistency and quality across the team

Who We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (experience with autism is a plus)
- RBT credential preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Demonstrated skill in ABA implementation and data collection
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Reliable transportation to travel within a 30–40‑minute radius
- Comfortable using basic technology (tablets, apps, EMR systems)
- Someone who is patient, playful, compassionate, and eager to support others
